What is the Philadelphia Comedy Festival?

Created in 2025, the Philadelphia Comedy Festival is a 4-day festival featuring more than 100 comedians. The festival features local Philly comedians plus select favorites from around the world. In it’s inaugural year, there will be showcases, podcasts, workshop and networking events, and a whole lot of fun.

Thursday, August 21st to Sunday, August 24th in the year 2025.

Several venues around Center City Philadelphia.

When is the schedule of events announced?

The initial festival lineup will be announced in June 2025. Additional shows will be announced, so check the festival website and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter) for schedule updates.

When do tickets go on sale? And how do I purchase tickets?

Once each show or event is announced, there will be a Eventbrite link to purchase tickets or RSVP. Each show will have it’s own event page. Will Call at shows must match the name on the confirmation.
